The Brahma Kumaris
Hobart
The Hobart Meditation Centre is a beautiful old house set in a lovely garden setting and is located in New Town. Although our Centre is very active, visitors often comment on the atmosphere of tranquility and warmth.
We offer The Brahma Kumaris’ core curriculum Raja Yoga Meditation courses, (Inner Peace, Inner Power), positive thinking courses (Choose to be Calm) and regular Zoom and in-person classes on a variety of topics, sometimes with special guest speakers. The Centre is open for meditation in a welcoming, peaceful environment on Saturdays 6.30-7.30pm.
Regular meditation programs are held at City of Hobart’s venues, UTAS and in various locations around the state. Lunch-time meditations, Serenity in the City are held on Thursdays, 12.30-1pm at Mathers’ House (108-110 Bathurst St) in the Hobart CBD.
We hope you will visit us!
