Let’s Talk About Veganism

Join us for an interview by Jan Wright with Klig Akerly. From her early twenties Klig has been interested in nutrition, particularly in finding suitable plant-based alternatives to protein. She ran a small plant-based catering company and became classically trained as a chef in her mid thirties and worked in upscale restaurants on the West Coast of Canada. Klig presently coordinates the Brahma Kumaris' kitchen at the Yarra Valley Living Centre out of Melbourne and she will share with us her thoughts on a vegan diet and lifestyle.
