Monthly Meditation for World Peace
3rd Sundays, 11am - 12.30pm
BK Inner Space, 181 First Avenue, Five Dock, NSW 2046
With our thoughts, we encircle the world.
With our love, we bring healing to the world.
As peace grows, our own lives grow kinder and more fulfilling.
“Peace is just a thought away.”
Interfaith in Sydney, Reverend Dr Stephanie Dowrick, Heather Lee and Dr Kim Cunio join with BK Innerspace Sydney - and with 1 million people at BK meditation centres in 130 countries around the world - to meditate on the 3rd Sunday of every month for lasting peace in our hearts and in our world.
Our 3rd Sunday meditation gatherings for world peace will also offer sacred music, an inclusive uplifting spiritual talk and guided meditation. Tea, fellowship and replenishment follow.
Our world is in great need of harmony and co-operation.
Meditating for world peace is powerfully effective when we come together in unity, harmony and mutual encouragement.
The contribution each of us can make is uniquely precious.
No matter how little or much meditation experience you have, our energies of peace are greatly enhanced when we collectively send positive thoughts into our shared world and on behalf of our human family.
Joining on 3rd Sundays with 1 million meditators from 130 countries, from every race, culture and religion, old and young, we contribute to a more peaceful world. What’s more, we acknowledge the power of collective positive action and individually and collectively benefit from it.
“Come, come whoever you are!
Wanderer, worshipper, lover of leaving.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Even if you have broken your vows a thousand times, come!
Come. And yet again, come!”
Sufi mystic, Jalaluddin Rumi
Interfaith in Sydney has been offering spiritually inclusive services, events and retreats since June 2006. BK Innerspace Sydney is one of many Brahma Kumaris meditation centres in Australia and all around the world offering a profound welcome of peace to all who seek that.
Peace is more than the end of violence.
Peace expresses our most profound co-operation with one another and the compassion that lives in every human heart.
