About our retreats

Lifestyle benefits for body and soul

The Brahma Kumaris community values a healthy, safe, clean and spiritual environment. In keeping with our spiritual principles, smoking, drinking alcohol and consumption of non-prescription drugs or take-away meals are not permitted in buildings or around the grounds.

Each Centre offers a range of activities. There are residential programmes at our Retreat Places on weekends and also one-day, morning, afternoon or evening courses at other locations. More details are listed here. Kindly register early as many activities book out in advance.

Vegetarian food

On weekends, freshly prepared vegetarian meals are provided in an atmosphere of spiritual peace for all registered participants. If for medical reasons you have essential dietary needs, please indicate your requests at the time of booking a retreat.

Costs

The Brahma Kumaris share their knowledge worldwide free of charge in the spirit of making it available to everyone. Ongoing activities rely on the generosity of those who come to benefit from our activities, so financial contributions by program participants assist with ongoing running costs. While all facilitators and other helpers offer their services in a voluntary capacity, donations are, by and large, our only source of income.
