    Meditation

    Now, perhaps more than ever, we think about peace, we talk about peace... we look for peace. Peace for the world needs everyone—every country, every race, every religion.

    There are no exceptions.

    We cannot offer what we do not have. Peace for the world cannot begin, until we each find our own peace.


    The peace that is truly yours, the peace that lasts, is waiting for you deep inside. You only need a map to find it.

    Meditation is more than simply a holiday for your mind. It’s more than a way to relax and de-stress. It’s more than just a nice gentle activity for your spare time.

    Meditation doesn’t need chanting or mantras, incense or candles, and you don’t have to be sitting cross-legged on the floor in a darkened room.

    Meditation can be done anywhere by anyone, no matter what their age or lifestyle.

    Meditation allows you to access your own spiritual power and helps you to re awaken that power.

    Meditation offers us many things but this spiritual power is the most important. It gives us the ability to make important choices about how we live and how we feel. It shows us how to choose happiness rather than sorrow, how to decide on victory rather than defeat.

    In the oldest form of meditation, we don’t attempt to empty the mind. We learn to watch our thoughts and gently direct and focus them.

    Meditation takes you on a journey within. It takes you to a place deep inside—a place that as absolutely safe and private. In this place you can actually make changes in your life. In this place you can find peace no matter what else is going on in your life. You can go to this place whenever you want. Meditation opens the door.
